How to wear our Tie Tops - 3 ways
If you thought our sexy backless tops are just for summer or partying, think again! You can wear them in so many ways you can't even imagine.. Yes, they are perfect for the beach or festivals with hot pants or a maxi skirt. Yes, you can wear them with skinny jeans and killer heels if you're going out and you want to look hot but you can totally wear them this season as well and the key is layering!
And as it happens a major trend this season is layering 90's style. It's everywhere, all fashion bloggers and Instagram influencers are embracing it. So we thought it's a good idea to show you a few ways to style your favourite Minkie Tie Top to help you be in line with this season's trends..
Take a crisp white shirt, any shirt even your boyfriend's :) We actually used a Miumiu one with frill collar and cuffs but Asos does a really good and much cheaper version, throw in a pair of cigarette trousers add a shiny Tie Top and you're ready for that office party, Sunday brunch with the girls or family gathering. Hot lips and heels are optional but highly recommended :)
We've all got a basic white t-shirt in our wardrobe (if you don't it's time you got one, it'll help you put together so many outfits). Wear that t-shirt with a pair of distressed or fringed jeans like we did, metallic shoes - Gucci style and the icing on the cake a Monochrome Tie Top. Wear it loose at the front for a more relaxed look or make a cute bow if that's more your style.
It's amazing how easy it is to style any outfit when you have the right basics! Our to-go brands for basics are Uniqlo, Topshop and H&M - they'll never let you don't when it comes to a white tee, plain shirts or polo necks.
We talked boyfriend shirt, white tee and last but not least the biker jacket! There are so many options out there, Zara makes a killer one or for a more high-end option you can invest in this classic Acne. And if you happen to have a denim mini skirt and a Minkie Tie Top you've got the perfect outfit for whatever you're doing next weekend. And as the temperatures are going down by the day you might need some warm opaque tights, be creative don't stick with black if it's not a formal outfit. Add heels or trainers depending on the occasion, mood and your personal style.
Obviously these are just a few options, we're sure you can come up with a few more! Which of these looks do you like best? How are you wearing your Tie Top? Comment below or tag us in your Instagram pictures @minkielondon We'd love to see your outfits!
