After a rather long break from blogging we're back with a stunning collaboration which we hope will inspire you.
We all need a little fashion inspiration every now and then —especially during this time of the year when the weather is so unpredictable.
On one of those days with very unpredictable weather we met It girl/Fashion Blogger/Personal Stylist Hannah Hornblow in lovely Little Venice and together we styled some Minkie looks for you. All that in the hope that summer will be soon upon us and we’ll finally be able to wear our shorts and our favourite frilly floaty tops and dresses.
For her first look Hannah paired our Navy Stripe Jacket with distressed shorts and some platform ankle boots. We love how she made this look even more personal by adding that gorgeous little hat! She layered the jacket over our White Top With High Low Hem and there you have it, your perfect weekend outfit!
Sure, a little black dress or Le Smoking suit is always on par for the party scene, but who says holiday dressing has to be so cut and dry? From luxurious velvet to oversized and comfy dresses, here are the dresses for switching it up and looking festive this season.
Whatever your plans, choosing what to wear on Christmas Day should be fun. Spend time getting ready on Christmas morning and use it as an excuse to steal some quality 'you time'. Just make sure you choose an outfit that will accommodate a few mulled wines and a big lunch...
That's where our oversized fit dresses will come handy :)
Whatever your traditions at Christmas, it's always nice to pick a stand-out outfit to mark the occasion. A bit of glitz and glamour is a must and can be incorporated in a number of different ways: if you usually relax around the house on Christmas Day enjoying indoor festivities, then choose a comfortable outfit - perhaps an oversized dress or top and favourite jeans and snuggly slippers.
Back in 1993, Japanese designer Issey Miyake made a dent in designers’ imaginations with his revolutionary, technology-driven Pleats Please label. Now, the great minds at Altuzarra, Boss, Victoria Beckham and Proenza Schouler, among others, are manipulating all manner of apparel into streamlined yet edgy silhouettes or creating architectural marvels that add pizzazz to once-stiff getups.
Pleats are great for fashionably hiding yourself away or showcasing your boldest, most avant-garde self. They instantly (quite literally) elevate blah monochrome ensembles — or any outfit, for that matter. Plus, they allow tons of breathing room. And even the coziest swivel chair in your office couldn’t put a wrinkle in their style. Alexa Chung and others have made quite the case for pleats, but don’t just take it from her…take it from us. This season’s tops, tunics, pants, jackets, culottes, midi skirts — heck, even bags — all have serious wardrobe-volumizing potential.
From Prada’s pretty in pink print and Jil Sander’s lamé dress, to all-over at Gucci; whether quartz rose or bright fuchsia, pink has been a strong feature on the Fall/Winter 2016-2017 catwalks. Live la vie en rose this season as a wave of femininity breaks over fashion. This pretty hue has got all grown-up for winter and we love it. Dubbed rose quartz by Pantone, it was named one of the colors of the year.
While some designers recommend keeping your pinks in line, others prefer to mix and match different shades of the ladylike hue.
This color au moment is understated enough to wear head-to-toe: Go ahead and match your bag to your coat, dress to your shoes. When going head-to-toe pastel, mix in some bolder prints and colors, like a statement coat or whimsical accessory.
Not only is the soft pink hue the perfect way to introduce color into your tired winter wardrobe, but it can also work as a neutral. Swap out your creams, tans, and whites for this subdued tone to make your look a bit...
If you thought our sexy backless topsare just for summer or partying, think again! You can wear them in so many ways you can't even imagine.. Yes, they are perfect for the beach or festivals with hot pants or a maxi skirt. Yes, you can wear them with skinny jeans and killer heels if you're going out and you want to look hot but you can totally wear them this season as well and the key is layering!
And as it happens a major trend this season is layering 90's style. It's everywhere, all fashion bloggers and Instagram influencers are embracing it. So we thought it's a good idea to show you a few ways to style your favourite Minkie Tie Top to help you be in line with this season's trends..
Take a crisp white shirt, any shirt even your boyfriend's :) We actually used a Miumiu one with frill collar and cuffs but Asos does a really good and much cheaper version, throw in a pair of cigarette trousers add a shiny Tie Top and you're ready for that office party, Sunday brunch with...
